Zi Xiang Low
Experience
Since joining Milliman, Zi Xiang has worked on a large variety of life insurance projects. His experience includes carrying out actuarial appraisals valuations for numerous M&A transactions across South-East Asia and India where he reviewed and set up actuarial models for the purposes of traditional embedded value (“TEV”) and market consistent embedded value (“MCEV”) reporting. He also has extensive experience in supporting appointed actuary services and in conducting market entry research.
In recent years, Zi Xiang has assisted clients in model development for U.S. GAAP and statutory reporting, model validation, and model conversion with a focus on variable annuities and fixed indexed annuities.
His papers on U.S. GAAP Targeted Improvements were selected as study notes for the SOA exam syllabus.
Zi Xiang is a strong MG-ALFA® user and has prior experience in using Prophet.
Zi Xiang is currently a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries' Research Review Pool.
