Vandana Bhardwaj is a principal and senior vice president of strategic innovation with Milliman MedInsight in Seattle. She joined Milliman in 2005 and was instrumental in building and leading the MedInsight India practice across technology, product development, and operations for close to two decades before relocating to the U.S.

Vandana leads strategic innovation initiatives across healthcare data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Her work focuses on evaluating and incubating new capabilities, developing healthcare data and AI solutions, and translating emerging technology into practical applications for payers, providers, and other healthcare organizations.

Over her career, Vandana has built and led healthcare and insurtech products and technology platforms spanning medical underwriting, healthcare analytics, data engineering, and healthcare information technology. She has worked extensively across the U.S. and Indian healthcare markets and has led global technical, product, and multidisciplinary teams.

Vandana has served on healthcare and health insurance advisory committees of FICCI and CII and has participated in industry forums on healthcare analytics, insurance technology, artificial intelligence, and data-driven healthcare.

Vandana has more than 25 years of technology and business experience. Her areas of interest include applying AI in health Tech, working with intelligent data platforms, and creating innovative and disruptive solutions with emerging technologies.
